While Gridline feels there is no silver bullet--no single technology that is the best solution for every deployment, we focus on Broadband over Power Lines (BPL) as our preferred technology and use other technologies as appropriate.
Gridline has developed technology that enables broadband communications over
low voltage power distribution and medium voltage power distribution systems.
Our equipment is installed at various locations on the power grid to provide
services for end users. The end users will also have a single piece of
equipment that will plug into a power outlet and provide connectivity to their
personal computers, laptops, and smart appliances.
In addition to BPL, our technologies include cable, fiber, microwave, satellite, and wireless.
