Adam T. Berlew
Mr. Berlew is currently a Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development, for DELL, in Austin, Texas, responsible for identifying new business opportunities worldwide. He consulted for Modern Africa Fund Inc., a major mutual fund based in Washington, D.C. He served as Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business development for Prodigy Communications, Inc. Adam Berlew holds a Bachelor's Degree from Brown University, in Providence, Rhode island, majoring in Comparative Studies (1988), and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (May, 1993).
George A. Boitano
George Boitano currently heads the Directory Technology Business Unit for Rocket Software Inc., (www.rocketsoftware.com) an OEM software developer located in Newton, Massachusetts. He designs, develops and markets enterprise security and directory products sold to the largest global corporations through such channels as IBM, Sun Microsystems, Netegrity and RSA Security. Previously, as co-founder of Security Integration in 1990, he developed and brought to market several families of successful security management products that are used by many large US corporations and government agencies to this day. He is the sole author of U.S. Patent 5,305,456: Apparatus and Method for Computer System Integrated Security, which was granted in April, 1994. Mr. Boitano holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Harvard University.
Christopher M. Faucett
Mr. Faucett is currently a partner in Goldstein & Faucett L.L.P, a major Law Firm in Houston specializing in Intellectual Property identification and enforcement. Christopher M. Faucett was born in 1964 in Houston, Texas, graduating from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology - Industrial Distribution. After working for five years in engineering sales, he obtained his J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1995. Chris was the briefing attorney for Chief Justices Alice Oliver-Parrott and Michael Schneider of the First Court of Appeals from 1995-1996. He practiced general civil litigation in Houston for approximately three years before joining the law firm of Goldstein & Faucett as an associate in 2000. Chris is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association.
Edward W. Goldstein
Edward Goldstein is currently a partner in Goldstein & Faucett L.L.P, a major law firm in Houston specializing in intellectual property identification and enforcement. Edward W. Goldstein was born in 1942, graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering in 1963. He obtained his J.D. with honors in 1967 from George Washington University, receiving the Order of the Coif Honor. Ed's work in intellectual property law started in 1963 as a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, leaving in 1965 for private practice in Washington, D.C. In 1973, Ed moved to Houston, Texas and became an associate at Arnold, White & Durkee, becoming a partner and shareholder in 1976. At Arnold, White & Durkee, Ed was involved principally in intellectual property litigation (from the plaintiff and defense standpoints) for such major corporations as Haliburton, Chevron, Monsanto, Teradyne and Allergan. Ed was one of the senior litigators for Arnold, White & Durkee until he left at the end of 1994. Ed left with the idea of being a vehicle and resource for individual inventors and small companies to protect and enforce their patent rights when they otherwise did not have the financial resources to do so. This was accomplished starting in January 1995 with a variety of different payment opportunities including contingent fees. While focusing on plaintiffs' contingent fee litigation in the intellectual property area, Ed continues to represent major corporations in infringement litigation. Ed has been a member of the Licensing Executive Society (USA-Canada) since 1975 and is a Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation.
Matthew J. M. Prebeg
Mr. Prebeg is currently President of Glover, Miller, Lewis, & Prebeg, L.L.P., a major law firm in Houston, Texas. He is both a Lawyer, and an engineer who represents product manufacturers and inventors over a wide range of legal issues. He was a controls engineer for Ford, and also was responsible for instrumentation protocols testing at Ford's Nevada Automotive Test Center. Mr. Prebeg has published numerous engineering books and research texts. Mr. Prebeg received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law (1994). He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1980) and later was awarded a Ph.D. in Engineering from Texas A&M University (1988).
Stephen E. Kennedy-Smith, Jr.
Currently managing the Kennedy Family worldwide investments, Stephen Smith is principally a real estate developer. He has extensive business connections with major governments world wide, with specific focus in the energy related industries as well as real estate. Stephen received his M.A. from Harvard University, his J.D. from Columbia University, and his M.Ed. from Harvard University School of Education.
